Monday: In religion, the children continue to learn that God is three in one (three persons and yet one God).  We used a plant for an illustration of this:  three parts-roots, stem, leaves and yet one plant. 

Tuesday:  In health, we talked about poisonous plants and other poisons that we need to stay away from. 

Wednesday: Thanks for coming to VIP day!  The children enjoyed having mom, dad, grandma, and/or grandpa visit us for the morning.  Some children thought their visitors would get to stay all day so there were a few tears when our special friends had to depart

Thursday: The children are reviewing Aa, Bb, and Cc plus the numerals 1 and 2.  They enjoyed an activity with shape blocks today where they did a good job of following directions and making houses with the blocks.

Friday: The children are learning more about the people in our community who help others.  Today we talked about nurses and construction workers.  We also talked about some of the tools workers use.  They made their own paper hats to use during center time to act out whom they would like to be when they grow up.
