Monday: The children are working hard in art to finish our rainbow display in the hallway to remind us that God always keeps His promises. 

Tuesday: The class continues to graph our fall weather during circle time in the morning.  Even though we’ve had a lot of rainy days lately, the graph shows that we have had more sunny days than cloudy ones! J Pre-K also started a new graph showing the morning temperatures during this month. 

Wednesday: All full of smiles today and looking mighty fine in our dressy clothes. J 

The students discovered words that start with the letter Ff and made the sound for Ff.  The children really liked guessing what might be in Mrs. Worral’s bag that started with the Ff sound.  We began talking about Fire Safety. Needed to work hard on listening today.

Thursday: Today we started learning a song to help us remember the bible lesson about Joseph.  We enjoyed making houses, animals, triangles, creatures and other things with our shape blocks for our morning work at the table. We drew pictures of fire trucks rushing to put out house fires.  We had a good day listening today.

Friday: In science, we talked about what a fire needs: heat, fuel, and oxygen. We did an experiment to show that when we take these things away the fire will go out. Stop, drop, and roll works because the person rolling cuts down the oxygen the fire is getting to “stay alive”. The class continues to work on using kind words to speak with our friends.
